Cheryl Weibye Wilke is a writer of poetry and children's stories. Her poems have appeared in the Bloomington (Minn.) Art Center Literary Council's poetry reading performances and cable productions 2007, 2008 and 2009; Dylan Days, Otter Tail Review: Landmarks III, Penumbra, and Talking Sticks (anthologies 2010). Her works for children have been accepted by Highlights for Children, Hopscotch, Jack And Jill, knowonder! and Skipping Stones. In 2005, Cheryl was awarded a BoatU.S. Foundation boating safety grant to publish my children’s boating safety booklet, My First Book on Boating ― distributed by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. It was nominated for the 2007 Jeanette Fair award by the Tau State organization of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, an organization of women educators.
